We are trying to figure out what year and model this guitar is if anyone in the steel guitar community can help.

It is a 1947 Gibson BR4 with the handrest removed.

I have one of these but the strings attach at the bridge rather than the end of the guitar. It looks like the bridge has been replaced and the string attachment moved. I love the sound of these btw!
