Looks like a Shubb-Pearse SP 3. I had one and loved it but, the plating came off in a few months. I got a stainless Scheerhorn and have played it ever since.

A Dunlop Lap Dawg maybe? Same shape but without the name on the top.

I don't think its a lap dawg though that was my first guess. Although the logo definitely rubs off easy and they are chrome plated. But they don't round off quite as gradually at the top like this one and they are 2 3/4 inches.

Hmmm...
The shape is wrong for a Shubb.
It does look like a LapDawg but it's too long...
So, maybe a well-used Long-Dawg?

I have a Tipton & there's a "sigil" on each end, one like a combined "R" & "T", the one on the other end looks kinda like an anchor...
The Lapdawg (& LongDawg) has a hole like your picture.

Perhaps it's an early Tipton & later ones lost the hole & gained the sigils?
If it is a Tipton it would have to be rather old, as I've hammered mine for a few years & the chrome-plate is still good.

My Scheerhorn chrome is 2-15/16" and almost identical (except for the wear!), but your bar has a smoother transition from the curved ends to the top "rail". So unless they changed their manufacturing technique, I think not.

The Dawgs have a bit of chamfer at the edge that I don't see in your pix, and neither is 2-15/16" (and both are printed on top with their names, but that could wear off).

All I know about Tiptons is that they are that same basic shape...
