Here is something that is very different
for a non pedal steel guitar arrangement.
The tuning is as per the Japanese Koto
and it works so beautifully when the
Steel Bar is applied.
I love to play with this set up but it is
"slow going" because it is very far from the
norm.
"IN THE GARDEN" is an all time gospel
favourite and I am happy to present it here
for anyone searching for something off the
beaten path. The counterpoint possibilities are
amazing... and remember this is solo Steel
Guitar...no backup.

Thanks Lee and James!
Every now and then I am inclined to get off
the main road and try to be creative with
Steel Guitar. This is a good example.
When I get my edeas on record and the novelty
wears I usually get back to the normal way of doing
things but I can always say I have been there..
done that.
I do think this tuning has many possibilities
and plan to keep it handy..when the Spirit moves
I will play it some more.
Thanks again and good luck to you both.
