I received word that my old drummer, Quentin Clark, was killed today when his salt water truck rolled in Cleburne, Texas. He was 31.

Quentin played with quite a few people around here, including the Stephen Pointer Band and Snuff Garrett, and I had the pleasure of playing with him in Paul Nunn & Due South, and most recently the Wyatt Norman Trio. He was an excellent man and a great drummer; I shared quite a few stages with him and we sure had some good times. He had a personality that made everyone smile and feel great...made playing a really worthwhile thing.

Please keep all concerned in your thoughts and prayers. Please also, give a shout out here if you had the pleasure of knowing or working with this great guy.

Rest in peace my friend. Crying or Very sad

Yeah Duane, Quentin was a very good guy. Terrible loss for his friends and family for sure. He will be missed.
