Oh shoot Junior...I get so inspired every time I hear you play!...I got some good recordings on my MP3 device and spent about 2 hours tearing apart some of your BC pedal runs....Youre a very fluent player my friend...I look forward to coming to the country and spending a day playing geeetars!....Mick

I can honestly say, Its been a long time since i've REALLY enjoyed listening to a REAL band of musicians, playing REAL Texas swing and great country standards...Im SO over all the flash of modern country acts...stacks of Marshalls, Les Pauls...15 foot drum risers, and BLASTING rock and roll...These guys are the REAL DEAL..Twin fiddles, a blazing steel guitar...and best of all..I could UNDERSTAND every word coming form the singers mouth....What a treat!

Guys please understand that the door on Jody's bus is just a certain width and Junior still has to get his head thru there to ride to the next gig.
All kidding aside, I saw them at Turkey and they are everything you said and more.

Let me say the same thing to you Junior......I so much enjoyed your participation in the band at TSGA Jamboree over the years. I was sorry to see you bow out but I certainly do understand as I am in a similar situation in a totally different venue....

Anyway I just wanted to say.....thanks so much.

Love to hear you play, any time any where.

Jody Nix always keeps it pure, and with the right dynamics. Twin fiddles and a steel guitar! Throw in 2 and 3 part vocals, and a steady drummer, and bass well...
...it don't get no better.

Thanks for keeping it real.

Heck fire, Junior, you can give some of those CDs to me if you like! Smile I haven't got a single one of yours yet (except for Back To Back with Gary).

Absolutely Junior is everything said here and more ... he is definitely one of those great masters and the epitome of everything a steel player should be. He's awesome as both a steel player and an individual.

I could't agree with you guys more! Junior is a real prince of a man, and one of the finest steel players on the entire planet. If I lived in Texas, I would be at every gig he played at!

God bless you Junior. You are an asset to ANY person fortunate enough to have met you, and especially to those you can call your true friend.
