Great, Bob! But isn't there something you, um, neglected to tell us about? i.e., it says on the club's website:

Tonight is a Release party for his CD "New Music for Pedal Steel Guitar". |

Dang, I wish I could make it. Maybe if I leave now I can make it in time.
Sounds like a cool gig.

I have been practicing and everything. The band even rehearsed !
This should be a super professional all star entertainment extravaganza ! I only have about 900 CD's left so get there early.

Hey Bob--for obvious reasons I will not be able to attend--I have chosen Hanks over art once again. Have a fantastic performance!
Lynn--if someone wants to give you better details of a more efficient route, (I always screw people up when I try), great, but these general directions are truly enough to get you there:
---once you hit city streets you are on the west side of Manhattan. Go straight cross-town, eastward. Go clear across to 2nd Ave. Make a right on 2nd and head south. When you hit 2nd St. make a left (or if one-way the wrong way, go left on 3rd or 1st St.---you get the picture.) You will continue east past 1st Ave, Avenue A, and Avenue B. Your destination is at Avenue C and 2nd St.

Lynn,
Head downtown on Broadway, 2nd or 3rd ave. Take a left on Houston. Ave C and 2nd st intesect at Houston. There is a gas station on your left in the triangle where those streets come together.
If you are going east on Houston Ave C is called Pitt st on your right.
If you bump into a big river turn around !
