Why do some folks not list the price?!? To me it's just as important to know as any other features in an inst for sale. What's the advantage in not posting a price?

Hey Jon,
I was wondering about that myself. You have an item you want to sell and yet don't include a price? Whoa! Makes me think someone may just be trying to see what it is worth or what is the highest offer. I suppose the seller has his reasons though.

He is calling it a new Guitar and the rules say if it is listed as new you have to contact him for the price, at least I think that's the reason

Well, if it "arrived" last fall, "like new", it ain't a "new" geetar in my book. Very Happy
But it is a Ritt and I know it won't last long. Good luck to you Weldon, someone isgoing to be a happy camper!

I'm not sure why Weldon didn't post the price, but if you will email him, he will respond.

If I'm not mistaken this Ritt is a Day set up. Weldon is 80 years old (I think) and can't play it any more. This steel is just like new and would make someone a great Steel. I know if you email Weldon he will give you a price.

If it comes to the point of making a deal and the "Day" setup is a hindrance, I will change the set up to the "Emmons" setup with your specs. Naturally this would result in a couple day delay in delivery. Thanks,

Weldon

Hi Weldon,

I am looking for a nice S-10 like yours. I am playing a CMI D-10, 8 and 7 and love it, but it is too heavy for me to handle any more (age is hell).
In fact I have already traded my N400 for the N112.
I would appreciate the following:
1. Price (shipping??)
2. Weight in the case and case weight (that will
give me setup weight)
3. Pics (top, rear side view, changer end, and close
-ups of underside
Sorry, but I cannot become serious without more info.

Hum,
Tommy Dodd didn't post a price for the sale of this guitar either and nobody criticized that post.

It could just be a personal thang.

Hopefully b0b will mandate a pricing policy for used equipment. It's important to know the price up front to abate a lot of tire-kicking emails.

Good point Gary. Posted price or not, if I'm interested I'll respect the seller's wishes and email him. Who knows, it could be a deal you wouldn't want to miss.

However, here's another one that didn't have a price listed either. It didn't last long. The guy that invested a few key strokes must have thought the price was right or else they bargained the deal.
