I'm trying to find the serial # on a Fender Deluxe 8 Stringmaster. Under the tuner pan, written is 11/55, and the potentiometer coincides with that date. But I didn't see a serial number... Can anybody out there tell me where to look? Thanks in advance, sd |

It's usually stamped on the plate back by the bridge.
BTW: The serial number on my quad Stringmaster is: #0002. |

Just behind the blender knob, under the strings where they exit the "keyholes" for the ball ends. |

Stephen,
That is applicable to the later model Stringmasters, not the early ones. |
