Absolutely. I saw this the other day and had the exact same reaction. I think it's probably worth about $80. Beautiful chunk of hardwood though! _________________ If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On. -Shakespeare

Eggs Ackley Dom! Be great in a Tele! The pup is probably worth way more than the asking price for the instrument. |

post edited to reflect the old saying.........."If you don't have something good to say, just keep you're mouth shut" (or something like that)
I offer my sincere apology if I offended the seller or builder of the instrument by posting my first reaction.

Some projects of the hybrid variety are fine...You
see right away that the designer/builder KNOWS a
certain category of instruments in terms of history,
manufacturing tech specs & aesthetics...unfortunate-
ly,this one does not belong in this category...McUtsi |

That old Fender pickup should be put to better use!

There are such good repros available now that I don't think that is as much of an issue as it would have been 20 yrs ago.
I notice that it ended with no bids. A sign that it was priced to high, possibly. |

It's been relisted ... starting at $1.00!
If you really want that pickup now's the time! ....Or the whole show! These things do sound kinda neat. _________________ If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On. -Shakespeare
