I am looking for some chord charts for the E9 and c6th pedal steel. I am new to all this and I am trying to learn as much as I can while I still play.

Doug,

"Chord charts" are not associated with any given instrument. I suspect that what you need is "Tab Sheets" or Tablature." Tabs are written for specific instruments and tunings. Look down the index list for a section captioned "Tablature." You will find some great guys there, most of whom are always happy to help a guy out.

You can in E9 PSG convey a particular chord without using tab given the understanding that you have learned the fret relationship regarding a given root.
Using simple E9 acknowledged terminology that has been around forever
G(no) = G using no pedals or levers
G(AB) = G using the A&B pedals
G(AF) = G using the A pedal and F lever
G (E) = G using the E lever
Gm(BC)= Gm using pedals B&C
Gm(A) = Gm using the pedal A
Gm(E) = Gm using the E lever
G7(no)= G7 using no pedals or levers
G7(EB)= G7 using the E lever and the B pedal
G7(F) = G7 using the F lever
Gaug(ABF)= Gaug using the A & B pedals and the F lever
ETC ETC ETC.
As for the C6 PSG there seems to be no simple answer except that no matter what pedals or levers you wind up using you get basically the same cluster $#*&. Laughing

For E9, I purchased this - eBay Item# 270469478022 - and I find it of great use. That one is sold (to me) but you'll find loads of places on the net that sell the same item.

I don't have a C6, but I assume there is something similar for that tuning as well.
