I've been corresponding with a lot of steel players lately and invariably this question comes up: "How many guitars have you owned?" as well as "What kind of guitars?" and "Would you send some photos of them?".

I thought it might be fun (and easiest) to answer these questions in a single thread with a collage of photos of the ten steel guitars that I've owned.

The photos left to right and top to bottom are in order of purchase from first to last:

01 - 1976 MSA Red Baron with 3 & 1
02 - 1976 MSA Classic D-10 with 8 & 4
03 - 1977 MSA Classic XL D-10/12 with 10 & 7
04 - 1985 Boen/LinArc D-10 with 10 & 7
05 - 1987 Mullen HWP D-10 with 8 & 5
06 - 1990 Mullen D-10 with 8 & 9
07 - 1969 Emmons D-10 with 8 & 5
08 - 1976 Emmons D-10 with 8 & 5
09 - 1986 Mullen D-10 with 8 & 7
10 - 1997 Mullen D-10 with 8 & 7

No wonder my wife felt she was always in competition with my steel guitars! Shocked Laughing

Anybody else ever done a collage like this showing all your steels? Please feel free to throw it on here ... would be fun to see them. Smile
