Looks like we're going out with a bang! The Mother Truckers have been given the honor of opening the show for country legend, George Jones. This is our last show since the singer/songwriters are relocating to Austin, Texas.

Sunday June 26th

Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa
8727 SODA BAY ROAD
KELSEYVILLE, CA 95451 - 707-279-9205

I hope he shows up!

Stop by if you can.

Thanks, Dave Z

Well I had a great time. I feel our set went pretty well. I had the pleasure of meeting steeler Tom Killen and the cowboy guitarist Ricky. What nice guys and great players! We talked for quite awhile before and after the show. After George's set we(Mother Truckers) totally stalked George and he agreed to take a picture with the band! That was cool.

Ricky Davis-it seemed to me that Tom loves his Sho-Bud. It sounds great. I got to see it close up. Now I want one, too!

The entire GJ band went direct into the board with in ear monitors. The drummer had a plexiglass sound wall around his kit to control the volume.

Tom says Hello to Ricky D. and Steve H.

Steve, we were supposed to play with you guys the last time you came through to Konocti but there was a miscommunication between our booker and the venue. They called us for the gig on the same day of the show and we thought it was the following month. I'm not real clear on what happened. I was bummed.

Maybe next time.
