And so is Rowena Brooks from Scottsdale Arizona.
This wonderful full of life lady and her 63 year old son paid me a visit today to discuss her taking lessons on pedal steel guitar.
You see, Rowena just turned 80 years old and has recently purchased a economical 6 string lap steel.
Rowena says the lap steel is not exciting enough for her and she proceeded to sit down to my pedal steel.
WOW she said, this is what I'm talking about, I love it and I could get into to this!!! Very Happy
She said she had plenty of time to dedicate to learning it as she only (get this) line dances two nights a week. Ah, OK.
Rowena then ask, whats one of these babies cost. I quoted her a very good price, and she said, let me go home and count my silver dollars. Very Happy
I really look for Rowena to return. Nice lady in deed, and what spunk.

Storm, you tracked me down so to speak.
That was me, cept I was a bonafide City Of Ruidoso Downs Police officer under Chief Lynn Martin.
Tell me more, in what capacity would I have known you at the time?
Lynn was a friend of mine, a rather tall man around 7 feet tall I guess. I worked and rode around with Lynn mostly from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM five days a week.
Hey Storm, email me your phone number and I'll give you a call. fredsmusic@q.com
