I'm thinking about making a basic 10 string lap steel to take when I travel that can get beat up or stolen without being a big deal. I'd like a one piece aluminium keyhead without rollers. A 50's or early 60's sho bud keyhead sold recently that would have been perfect.

Let me know if you have anything. Old Marlens, sho buds or whatever is fine.

I wasn't planning on using an old changer housing without fingers but if someone has something like the old sho bud shark fin changer body let me know too.

Thanks,

Steve

Email me as I have a pair of unused, untouched Sho-Bud nine string solid nut keyheads, but you can also buy them from Bobbe Seymour. I will not give them away, as I need them as backups for guitars I have, so maybe Bobbe might be a better source.

Chris is keeping his for other projects so I still am looking. Bobbe has something that might work but I wanted to check again to see if anybody has something.

Chris mentioned not giving his away, so I wanted to make sure that I was clear that I expect to pay for parts.

It looks like two options that I thought I had didn't work out. So I'm still looking for a keyhead.
