I have a Fender 400 case black that is in pretty good shape. There are some scratches and tears but not many. There is a place where some of the piping is starting to come loose but it can be fixed. I bought it locally for a guitar I bought but the guitar had a case when it got here. You can have it for $40.00 plus $18.00 shipping. It's big. The inside measurements for the guitar portion is 36" X 9". The other section for the pedal board and legs is only 8" wide. The latches work pretty well and the old case is solid. Phred

Hey Phred, will a long scale 400 fit in that case?

Thom, I don't know. the dimensions I gave were 36 inches long and 9 inches wide for the guitar portion of the case. I can take pictures of that portion with a tape measure involved if you'd like. Let me know. phred

Thanks Thom. You folks wouldn't believe my stupidity in thinking the blocks the guitar sits on could be "shaved" and the case extended to accomodate a 36.5" guitar. WOW, and I didn't even smoke one of those funny cigarettes. In any case Thom's money has been refunded and I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused him and the case is back on the market. THIS CASE WILL NOT WORK FOR A LONG NECK FENDER 400!

Price lowered to 40 bucks. Someone surely needs a decent case for those old 400's. And this about as far down as I go. This is a break even price for me.
