Fellow PSG Players, i have a question about the set up of Pedals and Levers, and I know that there is No end to combinations, but to my question. Does any one have a set up to lower the [3rd] string one full step from "G#" to "F#" and the [5th] string from "B" to "A". eathor on a Pedal or a Knee Lever. If you tell me that is exactly what the Franklin Pedal in for then shame on me for not doing my home work and more research.

I retuned my PGS this afternoon after having it cased for almost 6 months, and discovered that the Knee levers are not set up exactly as I remember. Thus I wall have more questions later.

i Always appreciate the vast information this sight provides. There are no "dumb" questions only invormtive answers. Always treated well here.

It is more common to raise the first string F# to G#.
and not lower the 3rd string altho some lower the 3rd string to G.

Look at Paul Franklin's P4. Lowering string 6 along with string 5 [and sometimes 10] a whole tone is more common nowadays. I've never tried it on 3. I'm sure it's doable, but probably really hard on strings lowering to F# and raising to A.

Check Tommy White's variation of the Franklin pedal as he splits it on 2 separate levers.

While you're looking, check out the entire range of these guys E9th tunings. They are probably the most used pulls on records you are hearing today.

I've seen several guys lower 3 and 6 to G, but not for me.
