My friend Matt Davallet, who is also the administrator of the main French Steel Guitar Forum, would like to know what brand are those picks and where he'll be able to buy 'em, maybe also in Europe!
Thanks!!

I use Reso ProPicks and send them down to Andy Hinton for the coating. He can do that to what ever brand you prefer. The color coding is handy for us old geezers so we know which one goes on which finger .

Thanks Guys; I just replied to Mat's email in France. He wanted to know if I ship there. As of now I've sent picks to 45 States & 8 foriegn Countries. Not bad for a old country boy with a little idea & some free time. . Happy pickin'. Andy H. |

Andy, you and I met in Dallas while I was outside talking with Ralph Mooney. I have a question for you: Would you be able to powder coat the playing surface of these sitar picks? Let me know what you think--I have about 8 I'd like to have done.

Hey Mike: I remember meeting you & talking with you & Mooney. Sorry I can't help with your picks. I don't know a thing about powdercoating. Don.t the dip I'm using would work very well on the playing surface. It has a deadening effect as it's 40% rubber. I'll try it if you insist but no gurantees. It will peal off if it doesn't. Just send 'em to me & we'll do it as an experiment; no chg. Happy pickin'. Andy H. |
