What kind of string material do I need to replace the one on my Sho Bud volume pedal? I just orderd a new pot, but I think the string might need replacing also. It is pinched in a place or two.

When I used pot pedals, I used braided mason's string. Coat it with some rosin or wax, and it will be nice and tacky. I've also heard of fly line (as in fishing) being used. Let me know if you want some mason's string, I have enough for the rest of my life!
