Hi this is for you guys and girls that love the sound of the pedal steel guitar, for a future steel meeting at our Buckden club I am trying to secure the attendance of a Nashville "Superpicker" Mr.Bobbe Seymour.. This event, should it happen, will be a ticket only happening and the tickets will be £25 each. It will be held on a Sunday, start at 12 noon and finish approx 10.30 in the evening. Bobbe would play about three times during the course of the day and I know there will be lots of other players there that will want to be a part of it.
This event can only happen if I get enough support to cover the cost so, dig that steel out from under the bed and get practicing!!!

PLEASE EMAIL ME AND REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN THIS EVENT IF YOU WANT IT TO HAPPEN..........
Many Thanks John Davis

John, I wish you luck in this exciting venture, I hope you can make it happen. I guess Bobbe can play that blue Emmons again, he should know his way around that guitar, as he made it sound real good when he played it in Ireland. You can count on me being there for sure..........Ted

I'll be there, but it sure is hard to swim with a steel guitar, and Pack-seat. (especially to England)

I do have some experience though, my parents taught me how to swim carrying 100 lbs. of chain. The hard part was the bag and cinder block removal when I got to the bottom. It did prepare me in life for carrying my first Peavey Session 500.

Glad Mom didn't have that amp to throw me when I was a kid!

Bobbe, no need to bring a guitar, every Supermarket over here sells Promat Steel Guitars, and if you dont like the color, Im sure Allan Thompson will let you play his Black Promat, I understand they sound better in black. Anyway, I sure hope this plan comes together, so I look forward to seeing you soon ole buddie.........Ted

I can make it on the 18th of September, Now lets get as many of you great guys/players as possible to join me in a fun steel guitar day, or two, (or three).
Let me say that I want to see you guys as much or more than you want to see me. I'd really like to see as many players as I can.
And love to hear you play, lets get this happening.

John-
Be sure to post all the details and I'll post it at www.steelguitarshows.com
Man, I wish I could be there with you. Who knows, I might have a winning lotto ticket...that ought to pay for airfare!
God's best.

Clive I wish I could give you a straight answer!!!!I have asked people to send the money NOW!! I am sure there are lots of people out there that are waiting until the last minute before they pay up,loads of interest but apathy could still kill this gig!
Here is one problem I have.......
Some people that would like to come need to buy plane tickets well in advance to get a fair deal on airfare, but unless I get a few more to sign up I can not give them the confirmation they need!!!
If you want to help, and if you want this to happen....tell anyone that will listen....
SCREAM IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS.....SEND THE MONEY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
