I want to put my Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp in a rack case. However the Studio Pre does not have the rack mounting flange that most other rack gear has. I think I need to get some sort of rack mount adaptor. Does anybody know where I can get such a thing?

My Sarno Tonic preamp did not have rack ears, but it has screws for rubber feet on the bottom. You get a rack shelf from some one like Musicains Friend and drill some holes in it to match the screws on the bottom and you're all set.

The Mesa Studio Preamp came with a set of rack ears that can be attached to the sides of the unit with 3 screws each side. I might have an extra set in my parts "achives". I'll check.

If John's archival expedition is fruitless, I think I can help you Paul. Call me.. 0182-770-4110 or 0781-687-2166 (0044) Have the height and width measurements at hand..

Had a great time at the Diamond Coast hotel in Enniscrone last weekend, we raised £6,000 for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and also £6,000 for our Brolly and Friends Charity (Cancer Research)
Two coachloads of members of our fan club booked a three night stay for a "Weekend with Brolly" and Golf Classic, Pat and I took the MPV and stayed 'till Tuesday and then headed to the "North Wall" where there was MAYHEM..
Taxis all the way back to the "Point" But me driving like a Gurrier wasn't phased by them "Jackeens"

The Ulysses is VERY fast (even for a Catamaran) and 10 stories high.. HUGE..the largest car ferry in the world!

BUT the "Swift" is like lightning, faster than a Jet Plane. Travelling at a speed of 39 knots (Last weekend anyway)

Hi Basil. I may take you up on that offer for the mounting lugs. I have to sort out a flight case first.

Now that hopping over to the "auld sod" is even easier, maybe we'll see you over here more often? There's a lot of people that would love to hear you play.
