I'm really excited about this new tune that I've just posted on JERRY BYRD's MUSIC page of the jerrybyrd-fanclub.com/ site.
A wonderful FORUMITE friend made this tune available to me and I'm deeply indebted to him for having done so. It really amazes me how many of you out there really care about JERRY BYRD and his one-of-a-kind steel guitar playing.......and have wanted to share great tunes from your own collection with the rest of us here in radio-land. Many thanks to you!
It's a great old tune "You Don't Care What Happens to ME" by Rex Allen (Sr.) done with an uptempo beat that really makes it a winner in my book.
I think you're gonna be quite surprised at what JERRY does on this record. He's making no attempt to copy a pedal steel guitar but his bar handling certainly gives one's ears the impression that he might indeed be playing pedals on this one. He's tossed in a couple phrases with harmonics that are real 'teasers' for you folks that are always seeking challenges. ENJOY! |
