I have a really nice, cosmetically clean and all orig except speakers 1966 Pro Reverb. Killer amp, sounds great, no issues. All orig transformers, and the speakers I think are period CTS probably from a Twin Reverb (higher rated than normal speakers for a Pro). The bag for the reverb pan has a tear in it, but reverb works beautifully, vibrato also. At some point someone drilled a hole in the faceplate for a master vol knob. It had been returned to stock when I got it. I used the hole in the faceplate for a mid control that adds a lot of nice versatility to the amp. My understanding is that the entire mod consists of one easily removed resistor, and that other than that the circuit is stock except for the filter caps (which need to be replaced on any vintage amp if you want to gig it safely).
I have gigged this amp extensively in clubs and at festivals, and used it on numerous sessions. Killer diller Blackface Fender tone, no BS, no issues. Pics on request.
