I'm looking for some p-ups for my Carter D-10. I'm thinking the XR16 or whatever that thing is. I've got the BL-710s in it now and want to know if anybody has switched from the 710's to the XR16 and how it worked for you. I'm trying to find something that's rich with a full sound, not tinny or thin sounding. This would be wide mount p-ups with some long leads on them. Call me at 615-593-1702

Frank, have you tried dropping the 710's down about 3/16" or 1/4" from the strings?

Well you know that something would happen and my monitor just went out a few hours after posting this message so I'll hold off on the p-ups for now. Jerry I'll try to get them just a little lower but I think they're about as low as they will go now. They don't sound tinny but just wanting to experiment a little. Thanks for the tip!
