Anybody here looked at this material?
I got it last weekend and have been really liking it!
Just what a new player like myself needed to get away from simple tab and into a little more theory.
Basically, he teaches the song "Born To Lose" BUT uses it to focus the learning material on learning all kinds of various chord shapes.
He also has a lot of short little progressions to play along with on the cd that move between various chords in a logical, musical manner.
I'm just struggling through the material, but have already learned a lot of chords and how to find them on the e9 neck.
(Like I said, I'm still a beginner...)
Anyway, just thought I'd share, as I've never seen Billy Cooper's books mentioned here.
I also picked up his "A-11" course, which is very similar but focuses on scales, and of course teaches the song "A-11".
I haven't started that one yet, as the Born to Lose one will keep me occupied for a lonnnng time.

John, I agree that Billy's instruction materials are great. I have several of the courses and posted on the SGF when they came out.

Not only are Billy's courses great, he and Wanda are two of the nicest people anyone would want to do business with, or call friends.

I know of at least one PP Emmons that Buddy Emmons had Billy select for him from his stock and do the pedal set-up etc. because now I'm the proud owner and man it is sweet.
