With the outrageous prices they want in Greeneville for a conference room or dance hall I have been forced to move the Greeneville jam to Johnson City, TN. This may work out better for player won't have as far to drive. "Everette's Grill & Saloon" located at Central Shopping Center, 1121 #1 North Roan Street has graciously agreed to allow us the use of his place of business from 10 am til 3 pm on May 22nd. He usually does not open til 3 but will have staff there to see we get everything we need. Food along with refreshments will be available. This is in the location of the old Nashville Sound Club. They have a good size band stand and a fairly small dance floor. We can move the tables to make room if necessary. Come on out and lets supports Everette for letting us use his place with no charge. They have good food at very reasonable prices. Feel free to call me at 423-823-2962.

The may jam is not written in stone yet. Just trying to get a feel on how many would be able to come. May us usually a bad month for very hot weather is just around the corner and a lot of people are trying to get things done before that happens.

Would be glad to have you come and play Melanie. I will post the times and place as soon as finalized. Hopefully I will contact the VFW commander today and see if I can work it out someway. Gene GeFellars mentioned he would like to set up a display of his instuments he makes at this show.

Just returned today from a 10 day bass fishing trip to Georgia. Contacted the vice commander at the VFW and he said the rental of the room was not even brought up by the commander during the meeting. I will check around for another possibility and let everyone know as soon as possible. If worst comes to worst we could have it in June. If I have it in May I am shooting for the 22nd.
