AS promised, here are some pictures for you all to see some of the players in action.

Enjoy the pictures and if you missed this Steel Festival, you wont want to miss the next one. Truely, it was an awesome experience to have witnessed the finest players there are in one setting. Every player picked their hearts out.
No one should have missed this. It was also way too much fun and the hospitality there was awesome.

I noticed for the Saturday evening show there was a more diverse audience that was not necessarily as familiar with the steel guitar as we know it. Let me say I saw some real audience enthusiasm during the different sets with Bobby DeMoss, then Fred Justice, and finally Doug Jernigan providing the grand finale. I looked around during the sets to gauge the audience reaction and you could see by their expressions and in some cases swaying bodies how truly amazed they were to hear this instrument being show-cased. I know that the these steel guitar players won over the hearts of some new steel guitar fans that evening. Dave Owens with his marvelously deep vocals (combined with some real classic songs you don't hear every day)was a joy to behold and when backed by these great players made this one of the most unique experiences I have ever witnessed. Saturday evening was truly was one of the best, if not the best shows I have seen.

Looks like the KC Club was well represented at the show. I remember those that were at the August jam last year.
