John, it's a very light grey color, no blue in it. It looks really good on stage and plays smooth as butter. A few years back, I ordered my Emmons LeGrande in this color. The Tone-Aleigner pick-ups have allen wrench adjustments to increase or decrease string volume of each string. I like my 3rd, 5th, & 8th string to be a little stronger then other strings. This guitar sounds like a cross between a Sho-Bud and Emmons tone. D.D.

Hi Charles, Might work something out involving a trade for a Zumsteel or Jack Strayhorn era Emmons LeGrande II or III. Not really interested in other guitars.

great looking guitar. seems to me this would be very similar to my older zum. looks almost identical. what is the sound characteristic like? i would think it should be very similar. and if so why would you rather have a zum? just curious for my own mind.

Hi Chris, Really would prefer a cash sale, but the above mentioned brands have always been good, fast sellers in my shop.
I don't hear Zum tone in this guitar at all. The Rains and Zum's undercarriage is also very differn't from each other.
I'll be ordering another Rains for demo in my shop very soon. D.D.
