Affordable HD cameras and better upload quality has really improved image and sound quality of youtube videos in the last year or so. Smile Here is a video a friend shot of a gig my trio played here in Brighton last week.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTSZS2Ya5NA

Weissenborns, resonator (not lap steel) and electric lap steel. Double bass, cajón, drums. Sound recorded by the camera - pretty good quality.

The guitars I play in the clip are all tuned to G minor format (never get tired of this tuning Wink). G minor on the Lazy River Weissenborn and the MM Blues reso, Eb minor on the Burgin baritone and A minor on the electric Lap King Rodeo.

I hope you will enjoy the clip. It was a really nice night.

Cheers,

Fred

That looked like a fun evening, Fred. I like the lineup of steel guitar, bass, accordion and drums. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Brad and Chris for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Smile

Chris, I'd love to come and play in Bristol. Sam Walker, who plays percussion with me, has a solo project called The Muel that is really great. We can be a quite mobile double bill entertainment unit as we are only 4 people in the two three-piece bands. Smile
