Willie, with those flat crossbars and the way the bellcranks & rods are attached it looks like it might be an early BMI. My crossbars and bell cranks look exactly like that except the crossbars on mine are black colored.........JH in Va.

Does the pickup mean that 5 and 6 are louder.

Those flat cross shafts and bellcranks look BMI to me. I got a cross shaft from BMI about a year ago for a guitar I overhauled and it was polished like those.
