Ultra rare Hagstrom Viking XII.. Made in Sweden.. Only 651 ever made, and only made for 1 year.. 1967.
These are far more rare and collectible than the solid body Hagstrom 12 strings.. I have only seen 1 other for sale in my entire life.. It recently sold on ebay for $1500.
This guitar is in very nice shape, and plays soft and sweet.. Has a few small laminate top cracks that are common on this model, according to the Hagstrom website.. They have no effect on reliability, or tuning...
Its all original and looks super.
I may accept trades on this one as well.
Let me know what you have.. If its new, solid state, or digital, I am not interested.
This is a rare bird, and they don't come around often.. Gorgeous transparent cherry red... Neck is straight as an arrow, and there is NO play wear... Has been set up recently, neck shimmed, and plays VERY nicely!
$625 shipped

You can see those top cracks here... Look close between the neck pickup and the edge of the neck pocket. They are of no concern, but if you are worried about them, this isn't the guitar for you... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

In a dirty pawn shop actually.
I find stuff everywhere. ebay, locally, forums..
Problem is Keith, I buy high and sell low!... One of these guitars in the same condition just sold on ebay for $1500 last month..
. I have lowered the price on this one several times and still not a bite... Sometimes rare isn't so good. bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

Probably a lot of the problem is the economy. I have seen a lot of guys give up trying to sell anything, and other guys that can't give up have to give stuff away to stay alive. Things are, as they say, tough all over. |

Absolutely... This would have sold really fast a few years ago, when anything old, rare, unusual, or just plain cool was snapped up instanntly...
Guys will buy these days, but not frivolous gear.. Just stuff they need, or deals that are just too good to pass by. bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
