Al Brisco should either have them or can tell you where to get them. |

Jim, the gig bags that came with the starters were so flimsy that they were pretty much useless. I hope that doesnt offend anyone but its the truth.
Id tell him to check the local sporting goods stores for a baseball bat carrying bag that might do the jobn instead. some keyboard bags might work too. |

Jim, I have one that is still in the sealed plastic bag it came in. I will give it to you if you want it. A $10.00 donation in my name to b0b would be appreciated but either way you can have it.

Ben is correct. The Carter bag is flimsy and not wonderful. There are some nice, padded keyboard bags on the market that would make a good gig bag for the Starter. Some have pockets that can hold cables and a volume pedal. Check with your local music store.
If your student has a wife or girl friend who sews, she might whip one up... |

Jerry, that's a very kind offer and my student is happy to accept. In fact, he said he'd donate $20! I'll work this out with him when he comes for his lesson tomorrow evening. Thanks again for your generosity.

Jim, actually the Carter Starter gig bag works very well for what it was intended. I am happy to send it to you, I just need an address to mail it to. Please email that to me.

Thanks, Jerry. I'll get my student's address from him tomorrow night and you can send it directly there; it'll save a step. He can pay me and I'll make the contribution to the Forum in your name.
Thanks again,

While the Carter Starter gig bag offers little in the way of mechanical protection, it does keep the PSG dry and it makes a great dust cover....
