Three part harmony on a National Lap
Steel.
Sadness ....but then such JOY.

Hello Paul,

There are three tracks of Lap Steel
melody, tenor and baritone respectively.
Each is single string.
A fourth track has guitar.

I use a little Delay for effect.

Hope that answers satisfactorily.

I still have the old Guitar Player Mags
from the 70's with your articles.

All the best and thanks for listening.

Roy

It does Roy ! I used to use an effect that added a 5th above or below the played note and heard some similarities to that.

I haven't seen those articles in a long, long time. MY thanks should be still outgoing to Tom Bradshaw for making it possible back then. But time changes evertything or so someone once said in a song...

Much to my discomfort, I feel the Forum is also changing but am slowly coming to realize that that may well be a good thing for the future.

I do Thank You for still being there for us to listen and learn from !!

Best Regards, Paul

Good Morning Roy. You beat me to the punch. I was thinking of taking a song and doing it up in 3 part harmony with the steel. Oh well I like and enjoy your playing better then mine. ... Thanks Lee
