Well, Another Saluda show's over. Thanks to all the great players who came out---too many for my over-worked brain to remember, but the Georgia Gang, Joe, Herby, Ernest, and Ron Elliot--man, Ron had me in stitches all weekend!--you guys burnt it up! Tony Prior and his band, and the BEST ambassador the steel guitar ever had, Mr. Brett Day---thank you guys so much. The door is always open!
Now, start making plans for August---Larry "Wimpy" Sasser, and Chuck Lettes, from Colorado, doing one of his seminars. There'll be more info on that later, this is just a note to thank all who came out, supported the Southern Steel Convention, and the Shriners' Hospital. And thanks to those who want to continue what Buddy Walker and Charles Reece started back in 1987! With your help, it WILL continue, and flourish---and I think Buddy would like that! |
