haven't seen THIS before tonight.

pretty cool to hear Jerry playing non-pedal on a song that is so pedal-oriented. and he sure sounds great!

Nice to hear you discovered JERRY BYRD's appearance on the Connie Smith video on You Tube. Thanks for announcing it to the steel guitar world.

That show plus several others have been playing on the JERRY BYRD Fan Club site now for several months.

Perhaps you'd enjoy visiting some time:

It is easy to see why Jerry did not go to pedal guitars. Jody.

THANKS JODY for reminding me.

I meant to include this in my previous post but in my olde age, 'forgot' what I was doing at the moment.
The world seems to be turning sooooooo fast! Whew!

Anyway......during the next couple of days, a new tune featuring JERRY BYRD on the non-pedal, steel guitar, will make its appearance on the jerrybyrd-fanclub.com/ site. You'll have to look for it on any of his pages where it just might pop-up.

I'm quite sure you're going to be totally amazed at 'the pedal like sounds' Jerry delivers on this tune by Rex Allen, Sr. It's a previously recorded, popular ballad that has been redone with more of a rock and roll flavor. Let me know what you think!
