Does anyone play the version by Sara Evans? How do play the first couple of measures of the intro? I've tried a hundred things against the recording and can't get anything to match. It can't be that though. But maybe it's not on my gitar. Thanks.

Someone had that out in the 60's. Think it was Roy Drusky. Whoever it was, Pete Drake had an excellent C6th intro. Just noticed you're a Missouri boy, what part?

The version of 'Walk Out Backwards' in the '60's that I remember was by Bill Anderson with Pete Drake on steel......I am pretty sure that Bill wrote it as well.
