b0b is there a set of strings exclusively for Ext E9. I did not see any on the string page. Ordinarily. this would indicate to me they do not exist. However, I thought I bought a set last order.

Hey Robert, I called a well known steel guitar dealer in Nashville to order a couple sets of Extended E9 strings and when they came they'd sent me strings for a Universal 12. I haven't even tried since, I just order a regular set of E9 strings and an extra .046 and a .056 for the low G# and E positions. No hassle that way.....JH in Va.

Robert, take another look at b0b's U 12 sets. If I'm understanding correctly, you can order a set of E9th strings and he will configure it to an ext. set as noted here:

I've been using seperate .054 & .042 Jagwires. Just a little thin if you pick hard. I'm gonna try the the thicker ones next. (.056 & .046)
Thanks guys
