I see that you are located in Orlando, where abouts? I am in the Orlando area as well, close to Downtown. |

Tweed harvard - best guitar amp in the world, hands down. IMO. Orland has all the tasty gear. |

You are too kind and funny.I really dont have much anymore. You should have seen my house in the late 80's. A virtual vintage museum.Sadly, I sold most of it before the big boom in vintage prices.Im thankful to still have a few nice pieces. This being one of them. |

Sorry if this is off topic but I have one of these too. What do you mean it is the only fixed bias tweed amp that Fender made? The 5F6a appears to be fixed bias? (I didn't look past that).
And yes, these are wonderful amps! |

John
Maybe im mistaken, but a collector friend of mine, who is also a great tech, once told me, that the Fender Harvard circiut was the only fixed bias circuit from the tweed era.Thats all I really know, as Im not a tech. |

Actually, lots of later tweed amps (Tremolux, Super, Pro, Bandmaster, Twin, Bassman etc) were fixed bias. |

Well it doesn't have a dedicated bias tap on the PT, and derives the bias B- through a selenium rectifier. Maybe that is the unique thing? |
