My Shobud has a LKR lever to lower the Es to Eb. The travel seems long and the return springs stiff. The E to F lever LKL is much shorter. Looking at the springs and rod holes I can't see that I can do much about it. Or can I? |

Some of the older ShoBuds actually used return springs that were a little too heavy. If the return spring is too stiff the raise finger will activate with the lower finger and cause longer travel. You can go to a lighter spring but make sure it is strong enough to return the changer to pitch and also won't pull away from the stop the the raise finger is activated. |
