I have just returned from the Dallas show.
Having corresponded several times with Dave Beaty I already knew I would be meeting a gentleman,I wish I had better words to describe Dave,He and His Son Stacey really gave Me a warm welcome and explaind everything about their products in understandable detail.
At Dave's request I had brought My volume pedal(which had been purchased at St Louis)for upgrading. When Stacey opened the pedal He said that some of the components were "old"...The pedal has worked perfectly since I bought it and imagine My astonishment when Dave said "Give Billy a new pedal"!!
You could have knocked Me down with a feather.not one red cent did I have to pay.
I was also given a few valuable "Freebies"
I purchased a LeMay pre amp at a great price and have been trying it at home and am very satisfied with the results.
In summation I can honestly say that the Telonics equipment is higher than first class if that is possible, The way that Myself, and everyone else I spoke to were greeted by Dave shows that the customer relationship is absolutely first class.
Thank You Dave and Stacey and I wish You continued success in Your business.

Hey Billy glad you got home safe and well, I'm still feeling a bit like a stunned mullet myself.
I would just like to reiterate Billy's comments regarding Dave and Stacey - they were absolutely outstanding in their support of their products, and nothing was too much trouble for them ... I think it must have been all that time they spent living in NZ ..... the quality of the Telonics pedals is just incredible - I was so impressed I bought 2 of them for myself.
The airport security guys were all very interested in them as well ...everytime I went through an xray machine they wanted to know about those incredible electronics !!!!!!! _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

I feel the same way. The attention and customer service I got from Dave and Stacey was second to none. I brought a new pedal home and will be posting my findings very soon. I've been using Hilton pedals and will be comparing them with the new Telonics pedal. It's great to see someone breaking new ground for the steel guitarist.

The only VP I take on jobs now is my Mullen/Telonics. There's never a question - it simply is that much better. |

I would like to add my voice to the chorus. The Telonics gear is absolutely top drawer and their customer service beyond compare. Kudos to Dave for doing it all the right way. Can't recommend the volume pedal highly enough.

What a pleasure it was to visit with you guys in Dallas! Getting to meet and discuss new developments for the steel guitar on a personal basis was a wonderful experience for Stacy and me – a joy to be sure! Thank you all for taking the time away from the great music to work on making pedals and amps better. Let’s all continue to stay in close touch.
Let us know if you encounter any surprises with the gear, shoot us an email from time to time and give us an update. Can’t wait to see you again with new developments next year.
Glad you are doing well John!
Allen, an email has been sent with dealer contact information.
(And, thanks B0b for this forum, a truly great communication medium for us all!)
