OK, guys, Here's a question for you:
I heard a local guy do a song at a jam session which was about all the songs which used 3 chords, and I think it mentioned the names of a bunch of them. Do any of you know the name of a song like that? |

That would be about 60% of the many of the hits. And 90% of all bluegrass! _________________ http://www.myspace.com/jaclynjones

As I recall, that song actually has four chords. There is a two chord in the bridge. |

In the 40's you could play most country with three chords, then in the 50's rock advanced to four. If you could play the ONE,SIX MINOR,TWO MINOR,and the FIVE. You could cover 95 percent of the rock and do-wop tunes. YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC. _________________ Hard headed, opinionated old geezer. BAMA CHARLIE. GOD BLESS AMERICA. ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST. Well so much for my memory, it does only have three chords. Here's a YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_uwjrqm9TQ&feature=related |

Yeah, I listened to that one first, but it only had three chords too, plus it was wobbly. |

There's a 3 chord used on the chorus of "Tennessee Waltz". |
