I currently have a BOSS BCB-60 pedal board with a TU-15 tuner, a DD7 delay pedal, and an RV-5 reverb pedal connected to the Post EQ Effects patch on a Peavy Nashville 1000.

What other BOSS pedals does everyone use that work well with pedal steel guitars that you would recommend? And when do you use them?

Thanks, Tony

Unless you're into special effects (sound-wise), it looks like you have what you need.

In addition to what you have, a little chorus effect is always nice.

Heres my pedalboard. Includes 4 of my favorite Boss pedals. I run this thru the post eq send /return loop of an NV1000. I play guitar and mandolin thru this as well. Only thing I might add would be tremelo and reverb pedals.

Ben, may you please give me a hint about using a GE-7 to simulate the dobro sound?

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I am now thinking of adding a Chorus Ensemble CE-5 or a Super Chorus CH-1 for PSG. I am also thinking about adding a couple of additional pedals so I can use the board and NV-1000 with a regular electric guitar as well that I have been playing through a separate modeling amp. Two that I like are a Blues Driver BD-2 and a Acoustic Simulator AC-3.

You may also evaluate adding a "made in japan" Boss CE-2 from 80's (green or black label on the bottom).
It's not that easy to find but IMHO is by far THE chours pedal. I have just seen a few on ebay.
Later versions (made in taiwan) are not as good.

Chorus is good. Then you don't have to worry about tuning your steel... Winking
