Gary uses a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe stock amplifier. That together with his Zum is enough.

He used the Peavey in season 1, but the Fender in season 2. It really does sound great. Marty really loves that "Mooney" sound, so Gary got the Hot Rod Deluxe to help get it. I still believe it's Gary's touch doing a bunch of it though.
