Octave divider--- If so, did it work well to make the low-mid and richer? Question

I used to play a lot with Herby Wallace, when he lived in Chattanooga years ago. I seem to remember Herby using one from time to time. It was definitely a cool special effect, but not one that you wanted to use on every song, as part of "your sound".

I used to use one on guitar for single note leads in the upper register, or get that bass and guitar sound in the lower register. Also sounds good paired with distortion.
Unfortunately, it really doesnt sound good when playing any more than one note at a time.

The Electro-Harmonix POG or HOG will track chords. They work a lot better than the Boss octave pedal, plus you have multiple octaves and harmonics.

I use a POG II for organ effect. It has 2 lower and 2 upper octaves available.
