I just completed a new Ralph Mooney tribute CD and will have it in Dallas. It is now posted here on the Forum under announcements and Music For Sale.
I'll be playing at 1:30 on Friday and my set will also (at least in part) be a Mooney tribute.
See you there.

That's fantastic news Mike!! Every recording I have ever heard Mike play on is absoluely phenominal! The artists he has portrayed on some of his recordings are truly perfection, and one would be hard pressed I think to distiguish the difference!
You are indeed an amazing artist Mike! May you live long and produce many more of recordings. You are indeed an asset to the industry, and probably one of the most under rated.
Bring lots of CD's with you Mike. Once they hear just a sampling of your playing I think they'll want everything you've got available!! _________________ http://www.jagwirestrings.com |

Danny,
I feel very humbled by all your kind words. Not worthy, just humble. I do of course, respect your talent and experience immensely. Thank you very much. |

Mike,
That was a great sounding Cd and a wonderful tribute to a wonderful steel player!
Mike you have beautiful touch and tone. To my ears this is the way steel is supposed to be played. _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars
