I want to invite you all to tune in for the Jerry Byrd Tribute Show Tuesday April 19th at 8pm central time. Your host for this special broadcast will be Scotty himself. Scotty will feature some of the best Jerry Byrd music from the archives of the Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame and SteelRadio.com. Scotty will be describing this past week’s events in Hawaii and have his personal insight on the life of the "Master Of Touch And Tone". He will have conversation and trivia with some of the people who knew Jerry best.
Jerry’s influence on the steel guitar world cannot be measured. This tribute show will focus on the life and career of Jerry Byrd. His accomplishments and worldwide touring spanning many decades will also be highlighted.

Hello Michael,
I have been a life long fan of Jerry Byrd and was fortunate to meet Jerry for the first time in St. Louis at the Steel Guitar Convention in 1975.
I work swing shift and won't be able to listen to the show. Are there plans to record this radio show and make a CD available for sale at a later date?

Mike, this is one show that you should consider offering on CD. I would love to own a copy.
My kids are taking me to dinner for my birthday Tuesday, so I'll miss it. Please let us know if it will be re-broadcast.
