So, for some dumb reason, i decided to switch copedents on my S6 again. From GCEGCE up to BEG#BEG#. It came with this copedent so I can't believe I've been working on getting two strings evened out for two evenings. Here's the issue. The A pedal raises the two G# strings. I've got it tuned so the high G# raises fine, but there's slack on the low G#, meaning there's a little gap where where the white adjuster doesn't hit the changer until I'm halfway through the travel.

I had this problem before with my C pedal and the solution was to move one of the rods out on the bellcrank, away from the axle. I would do that, except the rod doesn't seem long enough. In fact, I already proved this to myself. I moved the rod out on the bellcrank to increase the travel, but when I loosened the white tuner, it simply popped off. So, it seems that I MUST leave the rod near the axle or I don't have enough room to screw on the tuning adjuster. I'm not sure how this happened as these are the same rods that the steel came with that made this very change.

Now, the other rod is also as close to the axle as I can get it, but the A pedal raises it almost to C. What should I do. I'm pretty frustrated as I've had this steel upside down about 30 times in two nights.

Switch to a .022 wound string on the low G#.

Yep, that's what I have. .022 for low and .011 for high.
