Push/Pulls, BEST sounding guitars ever made!!! Don't BUY a pedal steel, INVEST!!!! in an ORIGINAL EMMONS!!! the steel guitar that continues to go up in value year after year..,and this one is no exception.. a nice ALL ORIGINAL, UNTAMPERED WITH, STOCK , early 80's ORIGINAL Push Pull Emmons,Ser# 6505,this is NOT a re-issue!!has original factory installed fingerboards, no tampering with any portion of the guitar.......
nice flamey maple to boot!! No one got there hands or tools on this one to alter it in any way, that is amazing to start with!!!! ONE OWNER, the condition is EXCELLENT PLUS, some small bar dings ,and a dent on the front deck top edge. Emmons set-up on the pedals and levers. Of course... TONE TO THE BONE, typical tiny cracks behind the changer as on most Emmons laquer guitars. Original pickups, and electro

nics,Plays great and is ready to go...Comes with the original Emmons case and a leg bag..This is an original late 70's early 80's Push /Pull, with a mix of both features such as Le Grand style pedals, and Sperzel tuners, original Emmons decal on the pedal board.FYI these early 80's Emmons geetars had features of both the older late 70's era Push Pulls and the Le Grande style guitars wich were starting to hit the maket in the early 80's, thus the Le grande style pedals and Sperzel tuners.. asking $3200.00,plus shipping in the lower 48.. a rare opportunity to own a vintage factory oringinal Emmons D-10 in Sunburst Laquer finish to boot... E-Mail lucybobkat@yahoo.com or call 570-829-7908..Bob

Doug,

That is one fine looking guitar. You should have no trouble getting a new owner for it.

i have a question about serial #s. this is a pretty steel. the original p/p's seem to end around '81 with a # around 29xxD...did the reissue 'original' with the newer style pedals start a new sequence of serial numbers, and if so does anyone know what they were?

Chris,

Yes indeed, this guitar of Bob's is a real beauty! I hope someone buys it real soon...

I once owned the very first Reissue PP D-10 and it was stamped 001 DR.

When LeGrandes started into production in the very early 80s, the numbering system for Originals changed to the 6000 series. I have a 1982 PP with such a number. The last run of non-reissue PPs ended sometime around 85, I think.
