Would some one from Nashville please provide me info on the Time Jumpers.

I will be passing through Nashville on the way to Dallas and would like to hear the Time Jumpers. I believe they pay on Monday nights.

What is their current venue?
How do you get tickets?
Performance time and what time should I arrive?

Any thing else that is important.

Im not from Nashville but Monday nights at the Station Inn in Nashville. Last time I went, it is basically first come first served. ... No advanced ticket sales. It is not a big place so get there ahead of time.

Fiddler Aubrey Haynie and vocalist Carolyn Martin have both left the band. I heard that they were being replaced by Vince Gill. So, I'd get there REALLY early! Have fun! Winking

I saw the show on Feb 1 - with departure of Carolynn & Aubrey, Vince Gill was announced as full time member. He sang lead on only a few tunes (Look at Us, Holding Things Together, Buttermilk John, When I Call your Name, Take Your Memory), and fulfilled sideman role by playing hollow bodied electric guitar and mandolin. He joked the Monday-night-only gig might put him into another tax bracket!

Station Inn's doors open at 7PM for the 9pm - 11:30pm show. No advance ticket sales/reservations. Miss Jean Hughey kindly greets you at the door & sells each $10 ticket.

I'd suggest getting there as early as your schedule allows & gathering your seats on stage left. The twin leads & fills between Paul Franklin and lead guitarist Andy Reiss will leave you in awe of their musicianship. With Vince harmonizing on Dawn Sears' lead vocals, and Dawn harmonizing on Vince's lead vocals, I think that must be what heaven sounds like.

Plus, you never know who may show up - Amy Grant did her version of Bartender's Blues.

The Time Jumpers show just might be the best ten bucks you will ever spend.

Ron was correct in every detail, and I agree that it is hands down the best $10 you'll ever spend. The only thing I would add is that I have found it a little easier to get a good seat in the winter months vis a vis the warmer "tourist season" months. This will be especially true once it becomes common knowledge that Vince is a regular.

The Station Inn is on 12th, just off Broadway, since I didn't see the location mentioned.
Dawn travels with Vince as a backup vocalist, I believe.
Just added info.
Last time I was there, Papa John was still playing his great stuff.

I was there a couple of weeks ago to see how they sounded with Vince and you need to get there about 7:30 to get a good seat. The place fills up fast and is standing room only before they start. I seen where Carolyn Martin is bringing her own swing band in tomorrow night (3-1-10) so that should be interesting too.

How is the parking situation around the Station Inn. I will be in the Crossville, TN area in May and plan on catching the Time Jumbers.

The street address for the Station Inn is 402 12th Ave. South.

They have a nice website at http://www.stationinn.com/.

Be mindful that on occasion the Time Jumpers take a Monday night off. It doesn't happen often, but one traveling from a distance would be terribly disappointed if the T/Jers were off on that particular evening.

As for parking, I would rate it as adequate. It is basically a gravel lot, which can be a little messy during rainy weather, but I've never had a problem finding a parking space.

It's near the intersection of 11th and 12th. Also. there is a paved lot across the street that makes parking more than ample.
