Hey Charles we got more coming at you this season. We taped Ray Price and Merle Haggard on Monday, Vince Gill yesterday. Got Dolly and Patty Loveless tomorrow and season 2 will be complete. I think you all will love Ray and Merle's spots. Both of them were in excellent voice Monday, it couldn't have gone any better. In my opinion, those 2 could sing the phonebook with steel backing them up and we'd all go AHHHHH!!!! I'm still trying to get the chills to go down after getting to play with them HAHA!!!!

Marty Stuart and The Superlatives are really carryimg the torch for country music in Nashville. No doubt Marty has repect for those legends that have come before. I predict he will be a legend in his own time also. Thank goodness that we have this show.

Normally don't get to see entertainment like this unless you buy a ticket. With all the reality shows on tv now, the Marty Stuart Show, w/ all the superlatives, is such a breath of fresh air. I don't believe there's a show on television like it. Look forward to the show every week. Thanks to Marty and to the rest of the gang and to you also Paul.

Thanks for the kind words. I've known Marty for 20 years, and I think he's pretty much a legend (at least in my mind). He is the greatest friend country music could have right now. The new CD is coming out in June, and you'll hear exactly what I am talking about concerning keeping what we all refer to as country music. We have a bunch of different steel heroes/friends playing with us. Of course Gary Carter, but we got Kayton Roberts, Fred Newell, Robbe Turner, Tommy White and... drum roll please.... Ralph Mooney. There is a song on the CD where "Moon" gets a tribute from Marty that you're just gonna love. We tracked the project down at old RCA studio B, live on the floor just like the old days. I have some pics, but I think they might be too large to post here. I will try to figure that out, and maybe I will be able to share them on the forum.

Paul, this is too good! Watch for sales of the new Marty Stuart CD to take off like a rocket in the steel community. This is just superlatively fabulous!

Got to see Marty Stuart live at the GOO last April. I couldn't believe I was there. Got to also see Little Jimmy Dickens, Connie Smith, Bill Anderson, Raul Malo, Tommy White, and more, all in the one show.
Thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

Marty needs to put a song on the CD that the late Gary Hogue played on...that would be the *cherry* on the top of this CD...just sayin...
