Back in December I bought this as a Christmas present to myself. I don't really need it, so I'm passing it on. This pedal usually sells for $250. I'll sell this one for $200, including USPS Priority Mail shipping within the US, and I'll also include the official Fishman AC/DC adapter. Both the pedal and the adapter will come in the original boxes, with all paperwork. I'll ship this outside the US, but will need to negotiate shipping method and cost with the buyer.

| Just add a pickup (several different ones are compatible), plug in your 'bro and go mic-less, with that great reso sound. Might even help you play like Jerry Douglas -- ya think, maybe? |

The simple and short answer is, I don't know. I've never owned a McIntyre pickup.
In a recent post on resoguit-l, however, Howard Parker (the Beard Biz Guy) wrote:
"We did a lot of testing and found that there is not enough output from the McIntyre passives to drive the Aura pedal. You also lose all of the feedback rejection that the Fishman bridge pickup affords."
I've never owned a McIntyre, but my Fishman resophonic passive transducer pickup does seem to work with the JD pedal. Being passive it doesn't put out a real strong signal and does not light up the "clip" LED no matter how hard I pick or strum. But I still get a usable signal. Putting a preamp after the JD pedal boosted it nicely before it went to the amp or DI box. The JD Aura documentation says to put all pedals other than a tuner AFTER the Aura, but I wonder if some limited amount of preamp into the Aura wouldn't overcome that problem.
Other players feel that the Fishman Spider-style Resophonic split saddle piezo-ceramic pickup that is designed specifically for spider-style bridges is a better match for the Aura pedal. I've never used it though, so I can't comment.
I'm selling this pedal because I scored an original Aura Imaging Blender that I can use with several other acoustic guitars, as well as my reso. If I can't sell this pedal for a decent price, though, I'll just keep it, since I can get good sound out of it. And, the JD images are not available for the original Aura -- hhmmmmmmm.
